He started at Progressive as a claims trainee and spent nearly two decades there, rising to Regional Manager. That’s where he learned to run a claims organization at scale, not from a textbook, from the floor.
Today he works independently through Rich Dowd Consulting PC, taking engagements where deep operational expertise, carrier relationships, and regulatory fluency are what the situation demands.
